Important: Remember not to put in a # before 127.0.0.1. If there’re other websites you want to block, enter your 2nd address after 127.0.0.2, and so on.

  1. Run Chrome on your computer and type the website address you set, you should then find it can’t be accessed.

Note: Next time when you want to access the websites you’ve blocked, open your hosts file through the same step 1) -3) and delete the number and website.
